  With a view of keeping abreast the fast emerging technology deeply influencing the activities of the society, in the year 1988 the Department of Electronics was started at A. N. College. Starting with undergraduate three years degree course in Electronics, the department later introduced Post-Graduate Course in 1996. Located at the first floor of the “Technical Block”. The department is well equipped with all infrastructural facilities. The Department conducts B.Sc.(Hons.) course, M.Sc. Course and PhD Programs in Electronics. This course was approved by Govt. of Bihar and Magadh University. Courses are meticulously designed for acquisition of comprehensive purposeful knowledge and skill for gainful employment in various public and private sectors. The department is doing extensive researches in MOS devices and other field of Electronics. It runs Ph.D programs in Electronics. The department is also covered under exchange of teachers, students and for carrying out joint research under ERASMUS-MUNDAS program with European counter parts. The department also conducts a certificate course in Electrical and Equipment Maintenance. The department has an efficient set of teachers having rich blend of experience, intellect and dedication who in addition to impart teaching management and coordinate various activities of the department.

Admission Process

  • Admission to B.Sc. Electronics (Hons) is made strictly on marks basis and as per the reservation rules of Govt. of Bihar. Candidates securing atleast 45% marks in physics alongwith mathematics as core subject (PCM Group) at +2 level are eliguble to apply. Those candidates who have passed vocational trade in Electronics at +2 level alongwith Physics and mathematics are also eliglble to apply.
  • PG students are admitted on the basis of marks obtained in B.Sc. (Electronics Hons), B.Sc. (Physics Hons), B.Sc. (EEM Hons) & B.Sc. (Computer Sc Hons) with mathematics as subsidiary.
